Pedestrian Killed in Hit and Run

In the early morning hours in southern Indiana, a man walking across a roadway in the dark was hit and killed by the driver of a vehicle.  The driver then left the scene without calling for help and was later arrested for hit and run and for leaving the scene of a fatal accident.  After being unable to settle with the driver’s insurance company, WKW attorney Bill Winingham filed a lawsuit for the benefit of the deceased man’s young daughter against the hit and run driver.  The case was settled a short time later with the driver’s insurance company.
