Child Suffered Broken Femur Following Utility Vehicle Accident

Riding a razor motorbike, our client, a 12-year-old boy, suffered a badly broken femur when a friend, also 12, struck him while driving a large Gator utility-vehicle. The boys collided approaching from opposite directions around a corner of high brush on the property of the grandparents, who also owned the Gator.  Our client underwent multiple surgeries and extensive physical therapy. Kent and Bill Winingham argued that the grandparents negligently supervised the boys’ activities, allowing their grandson to operate the Gator at high speeds in an unsafe environment. WKW obtained a settlement at mediation.
