Woman Attacked by Dog While on a Walk

When a woman was walking in her beautiful neighborhood on the north side of Indianapolis, a dog being walked on a leash suddenly attacked her, knocked her down, and savagely bit her repeatedly in the leg. When the dog finally was pulled away, the woman was left with large gaping wounds on her leg which later became unsightly scars.  WKW attorney Bill Winingham filed the lawsuit after being unable to settle with the dog owner’s insurance company. A short time after being filed in court, the case was settled at mediation with that same insurance company.
