Infant Suffers Birth-Related Brain Injury as Result of Hospital’s Negligence

Our client, an expectant mother, was admitted to the hospital for scheduled labor induction. Prolonged use of the drug Oxytocin to stimulate the uterus led to the baby’s distress and contributed to the development of hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, a birth-related brain injury.
