WKW Sponsors Girls Inc. of Wayne County 5k

WKW is a proud sponsor of the Girls Inc. 5K, which will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at the Middlefork Reservoir in Richmond, Indiana. This race will be the fourteenth annual Girls Inc./U.S. Bank 5K Run/Walk.

The race will begin at 8:00 am, and registration begins at 7:00 am. Preregistration fees are $15 before May 9, 2012 and $20 for race-day registration.

The mission of Girls, Inc. is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. The organization’s programming is designed to build girls’ capability to become adults who are responsible, confident, economically independent, and personally fulfilled. Girls, Inc. provides after school and summer programs for girls between the ages of six and fourteen.
