WKW Sponsors Challenge Day for Washington Township Schools

For the second consecutive year, WKW proudly sponsored Challenge Day for Washington Township Middle Schools. Staff members participated at Westlane, Eastwood, and Northview Middle Schools.

Challenge Day is a day-long workshop for students and parents designed to provide awareness and education to help children combat bullying. WKW attorneys Bill Winingham, Bruce Kehoe, and Chris Stevenson as well as several firm employees served as adult facilitators, meeting with students to share their own experiences with bullying and build awareness of how to recognize and deal with bullying behavior.

The workshop’s purpose is to increase students’ self-esteem, change the environment of tolerance towards bullying behavior, and give students the tools to help themselves as well as others who may be victims.
