WKW and Colts Honor Lieutenant Commander Douglas A. Robb

WKW was honored and privileged to introduce the Horseshoe Hero on Sunday, September 24, 2017. Meet Lieutenant Commander Douglas A. Robb (pictured wearing the #1 Colts jersey). Born and raised in West Lafayette, Indiana, Commander Robb is a Surface Warfare Officer who has served at sea on board guided missile destroyers and squadron staff in the United State Pacific Fleet and has deployed multiple times.

Ashore, Robb served as Navy liaison to the U.S. House of Representatives and managed a multi-billion dollar portfolio of long-range precision strike missiles in the Pentagon. He graduated with distinction from the U.S. Naval Academy, Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, and the U.S. Naval War College. He is a recipient of the Navy League’s Decatur Award for Operational Competence, given to the Fleet’s top operations officer, and is a former Shiphandler of the Year.
