Wilson Kehoe Winingham has sponsored and participated in Washington Township School District’s Challenge Day program, a day long workshop for students and parents designed to provide awareness and education to help children combat bullying. WKW attorneys Bill Winingham, Bruce Kehoe and Chris Stevenson as well as several firm employees served as adult facilitators, meeting with students to share their own experiences with bullying and build awareness of how to recognize and deal with bullying behavior.
The workshop’s purpose is to increase students’ self-esteem, change the environment of tolerance towards bullying behavior and give students the tools to help themselves as well as others who may be victims. More information about the event can be found on the Challenge Day article (with video) on Fox 59’s website.
