Dennis Bland Honored as Horseshoe Hero

On September 15, 2014, the Indianapolis Colts and WKW honored Dennis Bland as a Horseshoe Hero. The Horseshoe Hero award is sponsored by WKW and is presented to an individual whose contributions to their community or the country are far reaching.

Dennis Bland is the president of the Center for Leadership Development (CLD). Dennis leads the CLD to accomplish organizational goals and long-range strategies. His passion is driven by a concern for plight of African American youth and community.

The CLD’s mission is to foster the advancement of minority youth in Central Indiana as future professional, business, and community leaders by providing experiences that encourage personal development and educational attainment.
