Request a Free ConsultationWe work, live, and play in Central Indiana. Our firm believes it is important to make positive changes within our communities and to support our friends, family, and neighbors. Below are a few of the organizations and causes we support.
In 2015, our firm established a scholarship through the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis. The scholarship will be awarded to one student who has excelled in torts class and exhibits financial need. We are thrilled to be able to provide this scholarship, support the students, and give back to the university and the law school.
Over the last four years, our firm has participated in the Attorney General’s March Against Hunger Competition. March Against Hunger is a statewide competition among law firms, law schools, and law groups to raise much-needed resources for regional food banks. In total, over the last four years, our firm has donated over $3,000 and collected nearly 1,500 pounds of food.
The Firefighters Survive Alive program educates children about fire and life safety. This educational simulation provides participants with life-saving skills and experience to teach them how to escape a fire.
Our firm has been a sponsor and supporter of the Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence for nearly a decade. The ICADV is a statewide alliance of domestic violence programs and support agencies. They provide assistance, resources, information, and training to those who serve victims of domestic violence. The ICADV focuses on five main areas: prevention, legislative advocacy, public awareness, advocate training, and legal assistance.
WKW is a proud sponsor and supporter of the Joseph Maley Foundation. The foundation was established in 2008 with the mission of serving children of all abilities. JMF works to build acceptance of individuals through programs that stimulate compassion and respect for the diversity of life. The foundation focuses efforts on disability awareness, adaptive athletics, creating opportunities for youth leadership, and service learning.
The mission of Girls Inc. is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. Their programming is designed to build girls’ capacity to become adults who are responsible, confident, economically independent, and personally fulfilled. Girls Inc. provides after school and summer programs for girls ages 6–14.
Since 2008, Wilson Kehoe Winingham has been a proud sponsor of the Indianapolis Colts through the pre-game presentation of the Horseshoe Hero award. This award is given to fans who make a significant, positive difference to their community or served in the armed forces.
