Bill Winingham Speaks at United States Court of Appeals Seventh Circuit

The 7^th Circuit Court of Appeals is holding a technology plenary session on Monday, May 6, 2013. WKW partner Bill Winingham has been invited to present on the topic of “Effective and Persuasive Use of Technology in Court.” The presentation will be broken into three separate parts, with Bill demonstrating how computer animations of accidents and injuries that he used in some of his cases at settlement conferences were instrumental in getting cases settled.

In addition to Bill’s presentation, U.S. Magistrate Judge Cheryl Zwart will demonstrate how judges and lawyers are using technology to embed links/evidence/docket references and other information in orders and briefs. John Maley, partner at Barnes & Thornburg, will demonstrate his use of technology through trial and case management.

The presentation will be moderated by U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of Indiana, Tim A. Baker.
