Emily (VanTyle) Chimenti earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Valparaiso University School of Law in 2016. While in law school, Emily was a member of the Honors Program, Law Review, and was selected as a Dean’s Assistant in her second and third years because of her high scholastic achievements. After law school, Emily practiced with a large insurance defense firm where she focused on litigating medical malpractice, trucking, product liability, and civil rights cases. During her tenure, Emily tried several bench trials and has extensive experience in both state and federal courts.

Emily joined Wilson Kehoe Winingham Injury Lawyers in 2021 and focuses her practice on medical malpractice, product liability, and transportation accidents. Emily brings a unique perspective to both the negotiating table and trial as she is intimately aware of and knowledgeable of what the defense will often argue in cases.
Prior to practicing law, Emily attended Butler University where she earned a triple major in Political Science, Spanish, and Peace & Conflict Studies. Emily graduated with Honors and was selected as the winner of the Butler Peacemaker Award in 2013.

In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband, family, friends, and two dogs, trying new restaurants, going to Butler Basketball games, and traveling.
