Drake graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education: Social Studies. While at Ball State, Drake was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity and multiple student organizations. In 2006 he was a member of the homecoming court.
Following undergrad Drake began the Indiana Voices Program at the Indiana State Library; creating free audio books for the blind and physically handicapped. As an evening law student Drake continued to serve as the Director of Indiana Voices until accepting a position as a law clerk at Wilson Kehoe Winingham LLC. As a law student Drake was named to Order of the Barristers in the fall of 2012 where he competed alongside WKW attorney Jon Noyes. The following spring Drake competed in the AIPLA Giles Sutherland Rich Memorial Moot Court Competition in Chicago.
Outside of law school Drake enjoys spending time with his family. He is a husband and proud father of one son, Jackson (2). The Land family can frequently be seen at the Indianapolis Zoo and Children’s Museum.
