WKW is both proud and humbled to announce that its partners, Bruce Kehoe and Bill Winingham, have each been recognized as “Lawyer of the Year” in Indianapolis by U.S News—Best Lawyers. Bruce has been named Best Lawyers 2018 Personal Injury Litigation—Plaintiffs “Lawyer of the Year” in Indianapolis. Bill has been named Best Lawyers 2018 Mass Tort Litigation/Class Actions—Plaintiffs “Lawyer of the Year” in Indianapolis.

Recognition by Best Lawyers is based upon the professional reputation each lawyer, as developed among their clients and colleagues. To capture this consensus, Best Lawyers has designed a survey that allows each recognized individual to give an honest opinion of the nominees. The U.S. News—Best Lawyers rankings are known to be among the most, if not the most, credible rankings in the industry due to their rigorous selection process.

How the Selection Process Works

The progression to becoming selected as “Lawyer of the Year” by Best Lawyers begins with a nomination. This nomination must be submitted by someone outside of the company itself, which throws out any artificial nominees. From there, currently recognized attorneys provide feedback on the caliber of each candidate’s work. Once this feedback collected and thoroughly analyzed, an eligibility check is performed to make certain each individual is in good standing with his or her local bar association.

With the reception of the 2018 awards, both Bruce and Bill will have the opportunity to evaluate their peers in next year’s research cycle.

It Doesn’t Stop There

WKW has worked tirelessly to establish itself as a personal injury law firm the people can count on. The firm’s strategy has always been to bet on its strengths and continuously develop its professional skill sets to meet the clients’ needs.
