/ Blog/ ATV Crash Critically Injures Helmetless Rider
A 35-year-old man suffered head trauma and other injuries in an ATV crash in Vincennes. The Brownsville, Texas resident was apparently travelling near 60 mph when he lost control of a Suzuki ATV and smashed into a pole on the evening of June 11th. No one else was injured in the accident.
Emergency responders came to the scene,near the soccer fields on South 6th Street Road, and stabilized the man before taking him to Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes. A Life Flight medical helicopter later took him to St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville for further treatment.
The man was reportedly not wearing a helmet or other protective gear.
