Case settled for truck mechanic who had parts of two fingers amputated

WKW has settled a case for an Indiana truck mechanic who had his fingers crushed and partially amputated in an Ohio accident.  The man was replacing an alternator in a truck engine when the truck driver defendant suddenly turned the engine on.  The mechanic had his hand in the engine and his fingers were severely injured when the engine started.  A lawsuit was filed in Ohio, and the case was settled at mediation.
