Chris Stevenson recognized in Indiana Lawyer magazine
WKW attorney Chris Stevenson was recently recognized in the publication Indiana Lawyer for his charity work helping families in Haiti earlier this year. The program, which is organized by the Evangelical Covenant Church of Lafayette, established a relationship with families in the village of LaMare, Haiti and has worked to provide homes, education and medical care for impoverished families.
"I get a real joy from helping others," Stevenson said. I enjoy representing injured clients and those who have lost their loved ones, but litigation is such a long process. By going to Haiti, I saw the immediate impact of what I was doing."
