Verdict for WKW client injured at Menard's

A Marion County, Indiana jury has returned a verdict in favor of a WKW client injured at the Menard Store on Pendleton Pike in Indianapolis. Our client was injured when a heavy wooden door which had been stacked with other doors on a shelf high off the floor fell on him, striking him in the head and neck. Menard admitted liability in the case, as a Menard employee was helping a customer on the other side of the aisle and mistakenly pushed the door, causing it to fall on our client.

The verdict included compensation for medical bills, lost wages, and pain and suffering. The evidence showed that the injured client had to go through a series of painful injections and may need surgery for his injuries. WKW attorneys Bill Winingham and John Shubat presented the case to the jury.
