WKW currently has a wrongful death case ongoing in which an airplane crashed during bad weather after the FAA failed to properly warn the pilot of dangerous weather conditions.  Recordings obtained in discovery show that the FAA controllers had knowledge of the hazardous weather conditions which were not relayed to the pilot in time to avoid the thunderstorm which caused the crash.
