In addition to their work at the firm, several staff members also work to help local, regional and national charities. WKW would like to recognize those who volunteer their personal time and efforts to help bring assistance to those in need.

The non-profit agency has a website with information for those seeking to volunteer as well as those looking to enroll in the program at http://www.brookesplace.org. Julie also participates annually in Race for the Cure, an event that seeks to educate and raide funds for breast cancer research. In addition she also donates her time to the breakfast crew at Fletcher Place Community Center preparing and serving breakfast for homeless individuals. This program is organized through St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Indianapolis. Julie and her family also participate in the United Christmas Service's family adoption program each year, adopting a family in need during the Christmas season.
Sherri Kehoe, the firm's nurse paralegal, started volunteering for the Good Friends program through IUPUI last winter.
