/ Blog/ Slip, Trip & Fall Accidents Can Happen Anywhere
As pedestrians, we don’t always look down while walking. You can’t always be aware of the conditions around you. You might not see the raise in the sidewalk at the park or notice the broken jar of pickles in the next aisle. If we fall, we blame ourselves for being clumsy or distracted. In reality, falling is not always your fault.
Slip, trip and fall accidents can occur anywhere. A fall can occur due to another person’s negligence by failing to maintain their property or warn you of any possible hazards. Property owners have an obligation to keep their property safe from conditions that can cause injuries. If that obligation is ignored, and a person is injured as a result, a claim can be made against the property owner.
Any slip, trip and fall accident MUST be reported to the property owner. You will need to fill out an accident report stating when, where and how the fall occurred and what injuries were sustained.
It is important to remember that injuries aren’t always evident at the time of the accident and can develop over time.
If you were injured due to a slip, trip or fall, and would like information about starting a claim, please contact us with any questions or concerns.
